Wander cobbled streets lined with colorful facades, discover hidden courtyards, and visit the iconic St. Mark’s Church, Lotrščak Tower, and the charming funicular railway — one of the shortest in the world.

Next, dive into Zagreb’s creative side with a visit to some of its unique museums. Whether it’s the quirky Museum of Broken Relationships, the immersive Museum of Illusions, or the elegant Modern Gallery, there’s something to surprise and inspire everyone.

After a restful morning in Zagreb, it’s time to enjoy the beautiful Croatian countryside before heading to the coast. Following breakfast and check-out, your guide will take you on a short drive just outside the city, where fairytale landscapes and history come alive.

You can choose local winery or visit one of majestic castles,  such as Trakošćan or Lužnica, with grand halls, lush gardens, and stories from centuries past.

After a relaxing lunch in a countryside inn or winery restaurant, it's time to begin the scenic 2-hour drive to Opatija, winding through forests and mountains before the first shimmering glimpse of the Adriatic Sea appears.

Upon arrival in Opatija, known as the "Queen of the Adriatic", you'll check into your hotel and be greeted with a refreshing welcome drink. The afternoon is yours to enjoy at your own pace. Take a leisurely walk along the famous Lungomare promenade, explore charming boutiques, or simply sit by the sea with a coffee in hand.

As the sun begins to set, take a short boat ride along the coastline — a perfect way to enjoy an aperitif on the water, with the golden light dancing on the waves.

In the evening, indulge in a gourmet dinner at a sea-view restaurant, where fresh seafood, local ingredients, and fine Croatian wines come together in a truly memorable dining experience. Toast to the perfect blend of culture, nature, and seaside elegance.

After breakfast, we leave the coast behind for a scenic one-hour drive into the Istrian countryside, a region famous for its rich gastronomy and world-class truffles. Arriving at a charming local truffle farm, you’ll be welcomed by your hosts and their expert truffle-hunting dogs.

Then it’s time to head into the forest for a hands-on truffle hunting adventure. As you walk among the trees, learn the secrets of this centuries-old tradition and, with a bit of luck, uncover your own hidden treasure buried beneath the soil.

After the hunt, return to the farm for a delicious truffle-themed brunch — every dish celebrating the unique flavor of this prized ingredient, from creamy scrambled eggs to homemade pasta and even truffle-infused desserts. All paired with local wine, of course.

The journey continues with a visit to a nearby winery and distillery, where you’ll enjoy a relaxed tasting session featuring local wines, craft gins, and traditional grappas. Each sip tells a story of the region’s passion for craftsmanship and flavor.
